Geometry Handbook is an educational geometry reference with a construction lab, a solver and practice, published by Oleg Korunov. This policy describes the app distributed through the App Store. The same policy is available inside the app, under About → Privacy.
The app does not create accounts and contains no advertising, analytics or tracking code. It does not send us personal information and does not contact our servers.
Only your chosen language, your theme, the entries you star, your best practice score, the number of practice sessions today and the last known state of your Geometry Pro purchase (plan and subscription end date, where applicable, so that Pro works offline) are saved, in the app’s local settings. Numbers in the calculators and the Solver, constructions in the Construction Lab, your conversation with the tutor and your search text stay in memory while the app is running and are not sent anywhere.
Questions to the tutor are processed by Apple Intelligence on your device. The app does not send them to our servers and does not keep the conversation after you close it. If the model does not understand the language of a question, the text is translated with Apple’s on-device translation.
Entries, drawings, translations and fonts are installed with the app. The handbook, the Construction Lab, the Solver, practice and the cheat sheet work without a network connection.
The camera is used only when you tap the scan button, to photograph a problem; the text is recognised on the device and the image is not saved. Photos are picked in the system picker: the app receives only the photo you choose. The app does not use your microphone, contacts or location.
Starting with version 1.1.0, the app checks public App Store version information using Apple’s service. Apple receives a normal network request and its IP address. Questions, scanned text, searches and progress are never included. The last check date and the choice to postpone a notice are stored only on the device. A failed check does not block offline use.
Geometry Pro has monthly and yearly auto-renewing subscriptions. Version 1.1.0 also adds a one-time Lifetime purchase, which has no automatic renewal or expiry and can be restored with the same App Store account. Subscriptions are processed by the App Store: the App Store handles payment, renewal and cancellation, and we do not receive your payment details. The app learns only which product grants access and, for a subscription, its expiry date. A verified revocation or refund removes access. You can manage or cancel the subscription in Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions. The App Store and your operating system handle installation, update, purchase and crash data under their own rules. That happens outside the app, and we do not receive that data.
To delete what the app has saved, uninstall it. Local preferences may be included in the device backup that your system manages. A Geometry Pro purchase is tied to your Apple ID and can be restored with “Restore purchases”. Uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription.
The app is a study aid. It collects nothing from anyone, including children, and shows no advertising.
If you write to us by email, we receive your address and the contents of your message and use them only to reply. Please do not send passwords or other sensitive information. Delivery is handled by your email provider and ours; this is separate from using the app.
Any change to the app’s data practices will be reflected here with an updated date.
