Geography Handbook is an educational world atlas, trainer and geography reference published by Oleg Korunov. This policy describes the app distributed through the App Store. The same policy is available inside the app, under About → Privacy.
The app does not create accounts and contains no advertising, analytics or tracking code. It does not send us personal information and does not contact our servers.
Only your chosen language, your theme, the entries and countries you star, your best quiz scores, your trainer progress (which countries and skills you are reviewing), your daily goal and the status of your Geography Pro subscription (plan and expiry date) are saved, in the app’s local settings. Your answers to questions and the text you type into search are processed on the device, stay in memory while the app is running, and are not saved to any history.
Questions to the tutor are processed by Apple Intelligence on your device. The app does not send them to our servers and does not keep the conversation after you close it. If the model does not understand the language of a question, the text is translated with Apple’s on-device translation.
The map, countries, entries, tables, translations and fonts are installed with the app. Search, the map, the trainer and the quizzes all work without a network connection.
The camera is used only when you tap the scan button, to read a question from paper; the text is recognised on the device and the image is not saved. Photos are picked in the system picker, without access to your whole library. The app does not use your microphone, contacts or location.
Geography Pro is an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly, with a free trial week for new subscribers). Subscriptions, renewals, cancellations and refunds are processed by the App Store; we do not receive your payment details. You can manage or cancel the subscription in Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions. The App Store and your operating system handle installation, update, purchase and crash data under their own rules. That happens outside the app, and we do not receive that data.
To delete what the app has saved, uninstall it. Local preferences may be included in the device backup that your system manages. A Pro subscription is tied to your App Store account and can be restored with “Restore purchases”. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
The app is a study aid. It collects nothing from anyone, including children, and shows no advertising.
If you write to us by email, we receive your address and the contents of your message and use them only to reply. Please do not send passwords or other sensitive information. Delivery is handled by your email provider and ours; this is separate from using the app.
Any change to the app’s data practices will be reflected here with an updated date.
