Frequently asked questions

How do I get my first idea?

Choose the number of participants, your setting and the youngest participant's age group. Tap “Roll the die”, read the three steps and try the activity. There are 112 ideas for solo play, families and groups of up to 12 people. You may skip any activity.

Which languages are available?

Version 0.2.0 includes the full interface and all 112 activities in English, Spanish, Arabic, French, Hindi, Thai and Russian. English is the default on first launch. Use the language button at the top of the screen or open “Settings” → “Language” to choose another. Your choice is saved on this device.

Do I need an internet connection?

The core game works offline. Activities, translations and fonts are included in the app. There are no accounts, ads, in-app purchases or external game server. Opening this website or sending a support email requires a separate internet connection.

The die does not respond when I shake the phone

Check that “Shake to roll” is enabled in Settings. Gently shake the phone while holding it securely on the die screen. You can always tap “Roll the die” instead; it does the same thing. There is no need to shake harder. Near water, use the button and stay well away from the edge.

How do I find a short or calm activity?

In Settings, choose “Calm” under Energy and “Up to 5 min” or “Up to 15 min” for the time limit. “No items needed” keeps ideas that need no equipment. Change the group choices to update your setting or the youngest participant's age group.

Why did the timer stop?

The timer pauses when the app goes into the background. Return to the game and tap “Resume”. The current activity card and timer are not restored after the app has fully closed.

Where can I find a saved idea?

Tap the heart on an activity card, then open “Favorites”. Favorites are stored on your device. The recent-idea history that helps avoid repeats lasts only for the current app session.

How do I delete my data?

Open “Settings” → “Delete data from this device” → “Yes, delete data”. This resets saved settings, favorites and the completed-activity counter. Previously created system backups must be managed separately through iOS or Android; restoring an old backup may restore older saved data.

Can children play?

The catalog includes activities for ages 4 and up. Activities for children involve an adult; children under 13 are prompted to play with an adult. Choose the age group of the youngest participant. This content filter does not replace the store's age rating. Near-water activities take place only on safe, dry ground well away from the water's edge; do not enter the water for an activity.

Your data

Settings and favorites stay on your device. The game has no developer-operated server, advertising or analytics. System backups and device transfers may include saved data.
