Physics Handbook is an offline educational physics reference published by Oleg Korunov. This policy describes the mobile app distributed through Google Play and the App Store. The same text is available inside the app, under About → Privacy.
The app does not create accounts and contains no advertising, analytics or tracking code. It does not send us personal information and does not contact our servers. The Android release does not request internet access at all.
Your chosen language, your theme and the list of articles you star for the cheat sheet are stored in the app’s local settings. Numbers you type into a formula calculator and the text you type into search are processed on the device, stay in memory while the app is running, and are not saved to any history.
The articles, worked examples, translations and fonts are installed with the app. Search, the calculators, the cheat sheet, the constants and the unit tables all work without a network connection.
The app does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, files or location.
Google Play, the App Store and your operating system handle installation, update and crash data under their own rules. That happens outside the app, and we do not receive that data.
To delete what the app has saved, clear the app’s data or uninstall it. In the Android release, settings and favourites are excluded from cloud backup and from transfer to a new device, so a reinstall starts from scratch. On iOS, local preferences may be included in the device backup that your system manages.
The app is a study aid. It collects nothing from anyone, including children, and shows no advertising.
If you write to us by email, we receive your address and the contents of your message and use them only to reply. Please do not send passwords or other sensitive information. Delivery is handled by your email provider and ours; this is separate from using the offline app.
Any change to the app’s data practices will be reflected here with an updated date.
