Privacy Policy
Effective September 24, 2026
Data we collect
None. Unlocky has no servers and makes no network requests. The developer never receives any information about you, your workouts, your camera or the apps you use.
Camera
Unlocky uses your camera only while a workout is on screen, to count your repetitions and check your form. The video is analysed in real time on your iPhone with Apple's on-device body-pose detection. Frames are not recorded, saved or uploaded, and are discarded as soon as they have been analysed.
Screen Time
Unlocky uses Apple's Screen Time framework to lock the apps and websites you choose. Your choices are handled by iOS as anonymous tokens: Unlocky cannot see which apps they refer to by name, and it never sees what you do inside other apps or how long you use them. iOS itself measures the minutes you have earned and tells Unlocky only when they are used up. You can withdraw this permission at any time in the iPhone Settings app under Screen Time.
Notifications
Unlocky can show local notifications (for example, to take you from a locked app to a workout). These are created on your iPhone and are not sent through any server.
Information stored on your iPhone
Your settings (which exercises you use, how many reps unlock how many minutes, your daily limit) and your workout history (reps and minutes earned per day) are stored only on your iPhone, inside Unlocky. They are removed when you delete the app. They may be included in your own device backups, which are governed by Apple's privacy policy.
Children
Unlocky does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
